I will be hosting a Game Night for Urban Eats on April 7th Friday. If it goes well, it's something we'll want to do once a month. There will be board games, Cards Against Humanity, and much more. I will also be running a one-shot pathfinder campaign titled Escape From the Shadow Tower.

The Chesterfield Mall is an interesting experience to say the least. With almost all of the stores closed it's a fairly barren place. The bright spot is definitely the vintage stock which is closed off to the rest of the mall. I would say the mall is
The Chesterfield Mall is an interesting experience to say the least. With almost all of the stores closed it's a fairly barren place. The bright spot is definitely the vintage stock which is closed off to the rest of the mall. I would say the mall is completely dead if there wasn't one big thing it seems like Chesterfield is trying to make this into a community center. There seems to be an area for live music and for badminton. And those areas seemed pretty packed. I've been to a few dead malls and it's interesting to see how Chesterfield is actively trying to keep it alive and do something different with it. Only time will tell though if they're able to completely transform it into a community center. #liminalspace

Yesterday I was out of the city for an appointment and we stopped at a small sandwich shop called Wimpy's for lunch. It's a place I used to frequent with my family but probably haven't gone to you in more than 10 years. I can honestly say it still has great sandwiches and burgers. Easily some of the best I've ever had. If you're looking for something with that small diner feel that just so happens to be Popeye's themed you can't go wrong here. There's a reason the place has been open since 1935. If you're ever in the Washington area I would highly recommend checking it out.

Since I am personally unsatisfied with my photos today I'm posting this reel as well. I'm also keeping the original audio because I think the audience participation was pretty good. Since there's a song in it I'm predicting it's going to get taken down so we'll see how that goes.

It's always best to take a moment and see how the first few turn out before you take a few hundred of them. I try to be very honest here and share my real-world experience with you guys. Yesterday I was at the South county center. It's interesting to see a mall that's in between states. It has enough people and stores to where it's definitely not dead but it's not thriving either. It's like smack right in the middle between West county and the Mills. These are some of my more liminal photos I took. I have another set which shows the mall a bit more active. The giant empty space was one of the mall's main anchors the Sears which as we all know now is pretty much dead as a company.
